'Criminal'(크리미널)은 1997년 9월 미국의 싱어송라이터이자 리코딩 아티스트 피오나 애플(Fiona Apple)의 데뷔 스튜디오 앨범 'Tidal'(타이들)에서 세 번째 싱글로 커트되어 발매된 얼터너티브 록이다. 노래는 흥겨우면서도 블루지하다. 애플은 'Criminal'이 "성을 이용해 무엇인가를 쉽게 얻는 것에서 느끼는 불쾌함에 관한 노래"라고 말했다.

마크 로마넥(Mark Romanek)이 감독한 'Criminal'의 뮤직 비디오는 1997년 6월에 출시되었다. 감독은 죄의식을 동반한 즐거움과 성적 일탈이라는 주제를 잘 포착하고 있다. 뮤비는 청소년기, 헤로인, 관음증 등을 주제로 삼고 있다. 뮤비에서 애플은 거의 알몸이나 반나체로 나오는 정체불명의 인물들 사이에서 속옷만 입은 차림으로 등장한다. 가사는 자기 행동에 대해 양심의 가책을 느끼는 동시에 성적 일탈을 즐기는 심리를 자아비판적으로 묘사하고 있다.
