'Fell in Love with the Girl'(펠 인 러브 위드 더 걸)은 2001년 잭 화이트(Jack White, 보컬, 기타)와 그의 전 아내 멕 화이트(Meg White, 보컬, 드럼)로 구성된 미국의 거라쥐 록 듀오 화이트 스트라이프스(The White Stripes)가 발매한 세 번째 스튜디오 앨범 'White Blood Cells'(화이트 블러드 셀즈)의 4번 트랙이다. 잭 화이트가 작곡하고 프로듀싱했다.
'Fell in Love with the Girl'(소녀와 사랑에 빠지다)은 1분 50초 동안 진행되는 기타와 드럼 연주로만 구성된 멋진 업템포 얼터너티브 롹과 거라쥐 펑크 롹이다. 멕 화이트는 두들겨 패는 듯한 크래시 심벌즈(crash cymbals)와 스네어 드럼(snare drum)으로 빠른 속도의 스터터링 비트(stuttering beat)에 맞춰 격렬한 리듬 기타 그루브를 구현했다. 잭 화이트의 보컬은 B3의 저음에서 A4의 고음까지 다양한 음역대를 넘나든다.
멕 화이트의 드럼 연주는 에너지가 넘친다. 잭 화이트의 보컬은 초조한 듯하면서도 열광적이고 자극적이다. 숨이 막힐 듯 빠르게 달리는 그의 보컬은 본능적인 강렬함과 기발하고 과장된 억양을 발산한다. 이 노래는 사랑에 대한 펑크적 오마주라고 할 수 있으며, 가사는 불안한 농담과 재치있는 유머가 가미된 단어를 포함하고 있다. 노래는 후렴 대신에 중독성 있는 백 보컬 라인이 특징이다. 각 구절이 끝날 때마다 잭 화이트는 "ah-ah-ah-ah"를 계속해서 부른다. 엔딩은 마지막 절의 끝에서 갑자기 멈춘다.

'Fell in Love with the Girl'의 뮤직 비디오는 미셸 공드리( Michel Gondry) 감독의 레고 애니메이션이다. 뮤비는 잭과 멕이 보여주는 맹렬한 연주를 기발하고 독특한 레고 버전으로 형상화시키는 데 성공했다. 이 뮤비는 MTV 아워드에서 상을 3개나 거머쥐었고, TV 프로그램 '패밀리 가이' 시리즈 'Ocean's Three and a Half'에 인용되기도 했다.
뮤비 제작을 위해 제작진은 덴마크 회사 레고(Lego)에 레고 세트들을 보내달라고 요청했다. 하지만 레고는 이들의 요청을 딱 잘라 거절했다. 뮤비가 히트를 치자 덴마크 회사는 밴드에게 다시 연락하여 레고를 싱글과 함께 포장해서 판매하자고 제안했다. 그러나 이번에는 잭 화이트가 이 제안을 거절했다. 멋진 복수를 한 셈이다.
