'Always on the Run'(올웨이스 온 더 런)은 미국의 싱어송라이터 Lenny Kravitz(레니 크래비츠)가 1991년 4월에 발매한 두 번때 스튜디오 앨범 'Mama Said'(마마 세드)에서 커트되어 나온 첫 번째 싱글이다. 제목은 '늘 도망다녀요' 또는 '항상 돌아다녀요', '늘 바빠요' 정도의 뜻이 되겠다.

'Always on the Run'이 나오기까지는 미국의 하드 록 밴드 건스 앤 로지스(Guns N 'Roses)의 기타리스트 슬래쉬(Slash)가 큰 역할을 했다. 슬래쉬는 원래 이 노래를 건스 앤 로지스의 스튜디오 앨범에 수록할 의도로 작곡했다. 그러나, 밴드의 전 드러머 스티븐 아들러(Steven Adler)가 이 곡을 연주하는 데 어려움을 겪었기 때문에 레니 크래비츠와의 공동 작업을 위해 남겨두었다.

1992년 6월 6일 파리에서 열린 건스 앤 로지스의 'Use Your Illusion Tour'(유스 유어 일루젼 투어)에서 레니 크래비츠는 밴드에 합류하여 기타를 연주하면서 'Always on the Run'을 불렀다. 이 노래는 비디오 게임 'Guitar Hero : Aerosmith'(기타 히어로 에어로스미스)에 삽입되었다. 또한 이 곡은 1998년 애덤 샌들러(Adam Sandler) 주연 영화 'The Waterboy'(더 워터보이)와 1999년 범죄 코비디 영화 'Go'(고)의 사운드트랙에도 삽입되었다.
