'Never Ever(네버 에버)'는 1997년 11월 10일 발매된 UK 걸그룹 올 세인츠(All Saints)의 데뷔 셀프 타이틀 앨범에서 두 번째로 커트되어 나온 싱글이다. 장르는 팝(Pop), 소울(soul), 알앤비다. 이 노래는 올 세인츠의 멤버이자 싱어송라이터 샤즈네이 루이스(Shaznay Lewis)와 로버트 자자예리(Robert Jazayeri), 숀 매더(Sean Mather)가 공동으로 작곡했다. 녹음 세션에는 샤즈네이 루이스, 캐나다계 UK 가수 내털리 애플턴(Natalie Appleton)과 니콜 애플턴(Nicole Appleton) 자매, 멜러니 블랫(Melanie Blatt) 등 그룹 멤버 4명이 공식 라인업으로 참여했다.

'Never Ever'는 UK 민요 'Amazing Grace(어메이징 그레이스)'의 멜로디를 메인 훅(main hook)으로 사용한다. 샤즈네이 루이스는 남자친구와 헤어진 후 이 노래를 썼다고 한다. 가사는 슬픈 이별을 겪은 뒤 나타나는 소녀들의 첫 반응에 대한 내용을 담고 있다. 주인공인 소녀는 연애에서 자신이 무엇을 잘못했는지 묻는다.

올 세인츠가 런던 레코드와 계약을 맺은 직후 루이스는 멜라니 블랫과 니콜, 내털리 애플턴 자매가 자신을 제외하고 만든 'Never Ever'의 보컬 녹음 테이프를 레이블 대표에게 제출했다는 것을 알게 되었다. 보컬 녹음보다도 'Never Ever'의 작곡자에 더 관심을 보인 레이블 대표는 루이스를 데려오라고 말했다. 올 세인츠는 US로 건너가 이 곡을 녹음했다. 제작은 UK 싱어송라이터 프로듀서 캐머런 멕베이(Cameron McVey)와 작곡가 겸 프로듀서 매그너스 파인즈(Magnus Fiennes)가 맡았다.

US 빌보드 핫 100 차트에서도 4위에 오르는 히트를 쳤다. 빌보드 핫 100 차트는 40위권까지 히트곡으로 인정된다. 2019년 6월 현재 싱글 'Never Ever'는 UK에서 역대 걸그룹 중 스파이스 걸스의 'Wannabe(워너비)', 리틀 믹스(Little Mix)의 'Shout Out to My Ex(전 애인에게 소리질러)'에 이어 세 번째로 많은 판매고를 올린 싱글이다.

싱글 'Never Ever'는 유럽 및 호주 발매용 버전과 미국 발매용 버전 등 두 개의 뮤직 비디오가 촬영되었다. 북미판은 교회와 숲, 거리, 터널 등에서 그룹 멤버들이 노래하는 장면들로 구성되어 있다. 유럽 및 호주 버전은 저택 내부와 수영장에서 그룹 멤버들이 노래하는 모습으로 구성되어 있다. 1998년 브릿 어워즈(Brit Awards)에서 'Never Ever' 뮤비는 '올해의 UK 싱글(British Single of the Year)'과 '올해의 UK 비디오(British Video of the Year)' 부문상을 수상했다.
