'End of the Century'(엔드 오브 어 센춰리, 세기말, 世紀末)는 1994년 영국의 얼터너티브 롹 밴드 블러(Blur)가 발매한 세 번째 앨범 'Parklife'(파크라이프)의 3번 트랙 수록곡이다. 이 트랙은 1994년 11월에 앨범 'Parklife'에서 마지막 싱글로 커트되어 출시되었다. 녹음 작업에는 데이먼 알반(Damon Albarn, 리드 보컬, 키보드), 그레이엄 콕슨(Graham Coxon, 기타), 앨릭스 제임스(Alex James, 베이스 기타), 데이브 로운트리(Dave Rowntree, 드럼) 등 4명이 공식 라인업으로 참여했다.
'End of the Century'는 영국 싱글 차트에서 19위에 올랐는데, 푸드 레코드(Food Records)의 앤디 로스(Andy Ross)는 실망감을 감추지 못했다. 데이먼 알반은 훗날 'End of the Century'가 앨범 'Parklife'의 네 번째 싱글로서 최선의 선택이 아니었으며, 'This Is Low'(디스 이즈 로우)가 더 나은 대안이 되었을 것이라고 말했다.
뮤직 비디오는 알렉산드라 팰리스(Alexandra Palace)에서의 라이브 공연을 녹화한 것이다. 블러의 1999년 노래 'Tender'(텐더) 이후의 비디오와 마찬가지로 스튜디오 테이크의 오디오를 오버더빙하지 않고 라이브 공연의 오디오 트랙을 사용했다.
데이먼 알반은 이 노래가 커플이 어떻게 서로를 바라보며 머물게 되는지에 대한 것이라고 말했다. 오프닝 라인 'She says, "There’s ants in the carpet"'(그녀는 말했지. "카펫에 개미들이 기어다녀")은 리드 보컬 알반과 당시 그의 여자친구 저스틴 프리쉬맨(Justine Frischmann)이 동거하던 켄싱턴의 집에서 영감을 얻었다. 그들이 살던 집에는 실제로 개미들이 침입했다고 한다.
