'Great Southern Land'(그레이트 서던 랜드)는 호주의 롹 밴드 아이스하우스(Icehouse)가 부른 노래다. 이 노래는 1982년 8월 아이스하우스의 두 번째 스튜디오 앨범 'Primitive Man'(프리머티브 맨, 원시인)의 리드 싱글로 커트되어 발매되었다.
'Great Southern Land' 녹음 세션에는 이바 데이비스(Iva Davies, 리드 보컬, 리드 기타), 밥 크레치머(Bob Kretschmer, 리듬 기타), 가이 프랫(Guy Pratt, 베이스 기타), 앤디 쿤타(Andy Qunta, 키보드), 마이클 호스트(Michael Hoste, 키보드), 존 로이드(John Lloyd, 드럼) 등이 공식 라인업으로 참여했다. 이 노래는 호주 싱글 차트 5위에 올랐다. 1988년에는 야후 시어리어스(Yahoo Serious) 감독의 코미디 영화 'Young Einstein'(영 아인스타인)의 사운드트랙에 삽입되었다.
'Great Southern Land' 뮤직비디오는 두 가지 버전이 있다. 호주 오리지널 버전은 1982년 뉴사우스웨일즈 주 시드니 어퍼 노스 쇼어의 교외 지역인 와룽가(Wahroonga)의 버려진 존스(Jones) 채석장에서 촬영되었다. 낮에는 호주의 대자연을 담은 클립이 있고, 밤에는 캠프 파이어 장면이 들어 있다.
'Great Southern Land'의 미국 버전 뮤직비디오는 1989년 영화 'Young Einstein'을 위해 만들어졌다. 이 버전은 이바 데이비스가 호주 뉴사우스웨일즈 중서부 해안 지역에 있는 미알 호(Myall Lakes) 국립공원을 산책하는 장면으로 구성되었다.
2014년 11월 'Great Southern Land'는 호주 국립 영화 및 사운드 아카이브(Australian National Film & Sound Archive)의 'Sounds of Australia'(호주의 사운드) 목록에 포함되었다. 이 노래는 또한 여름 시즌 호주 크리켓 팀의 홈 경기 퇴장곡으로 사용되었다. 2018년 1월에는 트리플 M의 'Ozzest 100'은 이 노래를 '역대 가장 뛰어난 호주인의 노래' 목록에서 4위로 선정했다.
