'I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By'(난 네 곁에 있겠어/난 너만 있으면 돼)는 미국의 레코딩 아티스트이자 래퍼 메쏘드 맨(Method Man)과 싱어송라이터이자 배우 메리 제이 블라이즈(Mary J. Blige)의 듀엣 곡이다. 이 노래는 메쏘드 맨의 1994년 데뷔 앨범 'Tical'(티칼)의 4번 트랙 'All I Need'(내게 필요한 모든 것)를 리믹스한 것이다.
메쏘드 맨은 힙합 그룹 우탱 클랜(Wu-Tang Clan)의 프론트맨 출신이다. '메쏘드(Method)'는 슬랭으로서 그의 고향인 뉴욕 스테이튼 아일랜드에서 마리화나(대마초)를 뜻하는 말이다. 그의 트레이드마크인 굵은 목소리는 마리화나를 많이 피워서 지금처럼 변한 것으로 알려져 있다. 메쏘드 맨은 투어 공연 중 여자친구 쇼티(Shorty)를 그리워했다. 그는 곧 쇼티를 로스앤젤레스로 데려왔고, 그녀를 위한 랩을 썼다. 그 랩이 바로 'I'll Be There for You...'였다.
'I'll Be There for You...'의 모든 버전에는 싱어송라이터 마빈 게이(Marvin Gaye)와 태미 테럴(Tammi Terrell)의 히트곡인 'You're All I Need to Get By'가 삽입되어 있다. 래퍼이자 음반 프로듀서 RZA가 프로듀싱한 이 리믹스 곡(Razor Sharp Mix)은 싱글로 발매되었다. 뮤직 비디오는 다이앤 마텔(Diane Martel)이 감독했다.
래퍼 션 '퍼피' 콤스(Sean 'Puffy' Combs)와 힙합 프로덕션 듀오 트랙매스터스(Trackmasters)는 라디오 방송용 리믹스 버전 'I'll Be There for You...'(Puff Daddy Mix)를 제작했다. '퍼피' 콤스 버전에는 노터리어스 BIG(Notorious BIG)의 노래 'Me & My Bitch'에서 샘플링한 'Lie together, cry together/I swear to God I hope we fuckin' die together.' 구절과 기악 샘플이 들어 있다. 이 노래는 80만 장 이상의 판매고를 올려 RIAA로부터 플래티넘 인증을 받았다.
